Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

I remember thinking a lot when I read this verse of the bible. Trusting the hoped-for…

It is very difficult for many, but is it difficult to hope or to trust?

Have you ever achieved what you hoped for? So, did the last point of your hope really make you happy?

C.S. Lewis says that our expectations/hopes in this world are actually a faint image of what we should hope for, and there is a verse in the holy book;

Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

Again, what are you hoping for? A better home? Maybe a better job? A better car? In this case, all of your hope ends in a concrete object, so what will happen when you reach this hope? Or is it really hope?

According to TDK, hope means "waiting". So what do you expect? Waiting is a very precious act, men often complain about waiting for women, but they still wait because it is precious. People expect what is valuable.

So let's have a new hope today. A hope that does not go away once you get it. Let's hope it doesn't get any better.

Jesus Christ was the perfect sacrifice for all mankind, and all creation was stunned by His unique method of forgiveness. However, this was always His plan, and we only understood after it happened. Examining this unique situation, the cross, in all its details, even today, teaches us unique experiences.

So what happened?

To be with us, God offered a solution for the “human” with whom he wanted to be in the first place. As we were drowning in the noose of our own sin, God's plan, the cross, entered like scissors cutting the noose.

Hoping for a pair of scissors that cuts the tight loop of your life… This feeling of reunion is a hope that will never pass. Better yet, an eternity that passes in peace without ever getting into this loop again. This hope, this hope is enough to keep people alive. I was very surprised when I saw this verse in the holy book;

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

For us! Yes, God is thinking for us, and he is considering plans for peace!

Have hope, God loves you and has found a solution! Draw close to God, his unwavering hope is secure.

Jeremiah 29:13

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Now is the time to step into His solution and want to learn more to hold on to that unique hope?
